Abstract

 Burn is a serious systemic illness not only injury to the skin which is followed by various serious complications such as infections, shock, renal failure etc. Renal failure has been well recognized complication of burns. In-spite of many advances and treatment, mortality rate of patients who develop renal failure in post burn conditions remain high. in this study, 50 burn patients were studied bty assessing various parameters in blood and urine, along with the urine output and the incidence of renal failure.
