Abstract

 A 25-year-old woman, gravida 1 para 1, presented in active labor at 39 weeks gestation. She was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia.The anaesthetic plan of performing the procedure under epidural anaesthesia was made. Patient complained of tingling sensation on left cheek which gradually increased to numbness and miosis and ptosis on the left side.
