AbstractThe paper describes that both knowledge and information have been essential ingredients to change our society for future vision and shows the different approaches of knowledge activities in the knowledge society. Both Information and Knowledge management (KM) in libraries should be focused on effective research and development of knowledge for academicians and researchers, creation of new information/knowledge bases, exchange and sharing of information/knowledge mentions the modules and processes of IM/KM and also discusses the IM/KM techniques in libraries.
