Abstract

 Gastric cancer remains one of the most common cancers in Asia. Gastric carcinoma is the third most common cancer in India and the second leading site of cancer occurrence worldwide. According to the data provided by the Department of Pathology, Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore and literature, incidence of gastric carcinoma is increasing. This study was done to find out the proportion of gastric cancer& the associated factors.
